The beta has started, but the app is still not quite in a condition to release publicly (IMHO), so those of you waiting should continue to be patient for just a little longer.
There have been some problems with stability under Windows XP (and possibly Vista). Once I am happy that those problems are (largely) resolved, together with some other issues that might trip up first-time V2 users, then it’s time for the rest of you to hammer on it.

How is the Mac OS X version going

Both Windows and Mac versions are developed in parallel. In fact, the code is 99.5% common. However, Windows debugging is more difficult, since the code is developed on Mac OS X. The Mac OS X version is significantly faster than V1, particularly for the Intel Macs.
